The 38th annual Natural Products Expo West & Engredea, the world's most significant b2b event in the organic and natural products sector is practically sold out even though it has expanded its exhibition area for 2018.
The fast-paced event organized by New Hope Network includes a broad education program besides the trade show at the Anaheim Convention Center running between March 7-11.
According to the organizer, “the Hot Products Pavilion will expand into the beautiful new North Halls of the recently expanded Anaheim Convention Center. This new space will feature two levels of the hottest natural and organic products and is accessible via sky bridge from the main building. The outdoor area on this north side of the convention center is where you’ll find additional networking opportunities, activations, and a second stage with live music and other functions. Don’t miss this exciting new space!” The expansion means that all exhibits will be consolidated at the Anaheim Convention Center and there will no longer be exhibits at the Hilton or Marriott hotels.
The Fresh Ideas Organic MarketPlace will still take place at the Big White Tent at the Marriott Hotel on Thursday, March 8th between 12:30 pm and 5:00 pm. Sponsored by KeHe Distributors LLC, Fresh Ideas provides a great atmosphere and opportunity to meet and greet new exhibitors, startups, pioneers and other experienced organic entrepreneurs in an informal setting the day before the exhibits open. Expo West offers plenty of additional activities to network on and off the exhibition floor, including The Community Breakfast, morning yoga and live music parties.
The Climate Collaborative and New Hope will host Climate Change Day for the second time on March 7th from 9:00 am – 5:00 pm. The Climate Collaborative is a project started by OSC2 (One Step Closer to an Organic Sustainable Community) and SFTA (the Sustainable Food Trade Association). This initiative includes a diverse community of top players in the organic food and natural products sectors, growers, processors and manufacturers, distributors, and other concerned with the mission to take bold action to reverse climate change. Expect a rich agenda with inspirational keynotes, breakout sessions, film screening and more!
Expo West attracted in 2017 over 80,000 attendees and 3,100 exhibitors, over 500 for the first time, representing 120 countries.
