Food Ingredients Europe and Natural Ingredients 2011 comes to the Paris Nord Villepente, France November 29-December 1. In its 25th anniversary, the primary event of the industry is expected to be larger than ever. With over 1500 exhibitors and more than 23,000 food & beverage professionals from over 100 countries expected, Fi Europe & Ni is the world’s largest gathering of ingredients buyers and decision makers.

Since 1986 Fi Europe has been the industry’s leading event offering business opportunities from all over the world. Over 70% of attendees are international, coming from 119 different countries, providing the chance to sell your ingredients to manufacturers from Austria to Zambia and network with senior-level manufacturing executives who make the final purchase decision. Fi Europe’s attendees are from the top of the food chain, they come looking for new ingredients and ready to do business representing over €4bn of on-site ingredients buying power.

At six months from the event, only 5% of the exhibition space is still available, according to Reindert Dekker, new head of global marketing for the food portfolio at United Business Media (UBM), the show organizer.Fi Europe delivers a mix of the food and beverage industry, from dairy foods to bakery products, from confectionery to functional & health foods, and all categories in between. The event incorporates Natural ingredients (Ni) 2011 - the must-attend event for suppliers that offer natural ingredients. Held alongside Fi Europe, the show will attract thousands of food & beverage industry professionals interested in the huge potential of natural ingredients. “Our plan for the coming years is to grow our activities with natural and organic ingredients via our Natural Ingredients and Health Ingredients shows in Europe, Asia, the Americas and even in Africa”, said Mr. Dekker.

Exhibitors at Fi Europe & Ni include companies that cultivate, extract, process or supply food & beverage ingredients; health, nutraceuticals, organic and functional ingredients; natural ingredients used in food & beverages, cosmetics, medical remedies and nutraceuticals; and suppliers of food processing, food safety or food services to the food & beverage industry. Interesting to note that according to the 2009 show report, 23 percent of the exhibitors were offering organic ingredients.

Special features of Fi Europe and Ni 2011 include industry knowledge across a wide range of Conference modules, Exhibitor Seminars, New Product Zone displays and Expert Innovation tours. FiE & Ni Conference 2011 will feature a high-level 3-day conference addressing the most important issues currently faced by the industry. The New Product Zone is where you can put your products on a pedestal for all to see. This year will again display present innovations and will also review how the industry has developed in the last 25 years and take a visionary look into how food will look like in 25 years.
