For the 21st consecutive year, the entire international organic trade will meet at BIOFACH this coming February 11-14 in the Nuremberg fairgrounds to experience the world’s latest innovations and trends in sustainable and organic food, ingredients, health and beauty, as well as the latest developments regarding legislation, certification, labelling and packaging. BIOFACH also offers the largest and most complete international organic congress with over 100 presentations and panel discussions with leading industry players, to delight over 6,500 participants.

Building on last year’s theme, ‘Organic 3.0 – good framework for more organic’ – is the focus of this year’s congress. The presentations, workshops and panel discussions will give visitors and exhibitors at BIOFACH and VIVANESS the opportunity for insights into currently discussed issues from a wide range of segments.

According to show organizers, in 2014 the exhibition duo of BIOFACH and VIVANESS attracted 42,445 trade visitors from 135 countries.

This year the show has over 2,200 registered exhibitors from all continents.

At the new VEGAN World of Experience plus the Olive Oil and Wine sections, trade buyers can gather practical information about the respective range of products from recognized experts, try out the products, and obtain inspiration for their own businesses.

Also new at this world-leading fair is the largest-ever sponsored pavilion for young, innovative German companies. Around 45 young enterprises will display a wide range of products, from allergen-free chocolate in different animal shapes for children to spice combinations of herbs and flowers, and even pumpkin ketchup introduced by the company Georg Thalhammer.

The BIOFACH Novelty Stands and Best New Product Awards will now include the trend category ‘Free From’. Young, aspiring start-ups in the natural cosmetics market will also present new concepts and ideas in the special Breeze area at VIVANESS, the International Trade Fair for Natural Personal Care.

BIOFACH 2015 opening times are: Wednesday thru Friday, 09.00 to 18.00, and Saturday 09.00 to 17.00. Look up:
