BIOFACH AMERICA – ALL THINGS ORGANIC returns on 13 to 15 September 2018 to the Baltimore Convention Center. Running alongside the Natural Products Expo East, BIOFACH is devoted to products with organic certification and expects to host 200 exhibitors of the 1,400 participants.  Show organizers estimate 28,000 visitors will attend.

The international event will feature an Argentinian pavilion, an enlarged Korean pavilion and includes companies from France, Germany, Italy, Madagascar, Sri Lanka and Turkey.
"Newly created half booths offer first-time international exhibitors a cost-efficient yet high-visibility opportunity to showcase their company at BIOFACH AMERICA – ALL THINGS ORGANIC. German companies also have the chance to register for a pavilion subsidized by the German Federal Ministry of Food and Agriculture (BMEL)," show organizers NurnbergMesse said.

The USA is the world's leading market for organic food and according to the Organic Trade Association, in 2017 Americans spent almost USD50 billion on organic food, an increase of 6.4 percent over the previous year.

“The organic potential in the USA is far from exhausted. The excellent market figures are also reflected in the positive development of BIOFACH AMERICA – ALL THINGS ORGANIC,” says Markus Reetz, executive director International Exhibitions at NürnbergMesse. “We already have 22 new exhibitors, and the increasing mix of American and international companies is resulting in unique product diversity. Superfoods like acai berries, Ashwagandha or Moringa, coconut products, Argan oil and other organic ingredients are just some of the product highlights at this year's event.”

Around 80 percent of the participants at the 2017 edition had already secured their stand for 2018 before they left the venue. This year's supporting programme offers important inspiration and excellent networking opportunities. Once again, the high-caliber conference will be the key port of call where industry experts gather to share knowledge, network with one another and discuss a viable and sustainable agricultural and food industry.

One of the highlights will be the presentation by newly elected IFOAM President Peggy Miars, on Organic 3.0, which has become an inspiring discussion worldwide about the contribution that organic farming can make to resolve the challenges of global sustainability.

On the day before the fair, the diverse supporting program includes the one-day Natural Products Business School that helps start-ups from the sector to network with one another and share their success stories. The popular Harvest Festival table-top event provides a lively marketplace that celebrates the organic mindset and brings it to life in a festival atmosphere.
