During Natural & Organic Products Europe in London, show organizer Diversified Business Communication announced the launch of Natural & Organic Scandinavia, a major new European event to highlight the natural and organic sector in the Nordic European countries Denmark, Sweden and Norway. The new fair will take place in Malmö, Sweden on 10-11 October 2012, in one of the most advanced eco-friendly exhibition centres in Europe, Malmömässan. As well as its impressive eco credentials, including a naturally insulating and habitat creating grass roof, this first class exhibition facility is also situated perfectly at the southern tip of Sweden, just one train stop from Copenhagen airport and easily accessible from all the Nordic countries.

The Scandinavian region is known throughout the world for its commitment to ‘self-care’ and natural health, Diversified said, which is reflected in every part of region’s diverse industry and market, from continued strong growth in dietary supplements, remedies and natural beauty, to the highest per capita spending on organics in the world. But the market had no important dedicated trade show in the region catered to local retailers and other professionals and buyers and exhibitors from the region and abroad.

Diversified also announced the appointment of Lars Larsson as exhibition consultant for the Nordic region. Mr Larsson will play an important role in helping with the marketing of the event in the Nordic countries and will run the Malmo office for the event. The organizers will be working closely with key natural and organic organizations across Scandinavia.
