From 10 to 13 February 2016, the global organic and natural cosmetics industries will once again be gathering in Nuremberg at VIVANESS the International Trade Fair for Natural Personal Care, celebrating its 10th anniversary.

The event runs parallel to BIOFACH and will include new features such as ‘VIVANESS on stage’ a programme with workshops, make-up demos, exhibitor presentations and speakers. Over 200 exhibitors from about 30 countries are expected at VIVANESS this time.

For the opening of BIOFACH and VIVANESS 2016, the reception will take place Wednesday, February 10 from 13:30 in the foyer of Tokio hall. The opening starts at 14:00 and includes the Organic 3.0 – action for more organic! – A panel discussion, a modern ballet show – natural beauty, and the opening ceremony with a keynote speech on raw ingredients for natural cosmetics by Dr. Auma Obama, a sister of the US president, Barack Obama.

One new addition to the BIOFACH 2016 VEGAN World of Experience will be a cosmetics corner to accompany the book corner. To mark VIVANESS’s 10th anniversary, exhibitors from the international trade fair for natural personal care will be displaying a selection of natural vegan cosmetics here.

“What are the issues concerning the retail trade?” under this motto the VIVANESS Congress is aiming to provide a guide, generate impulses and inspire the participants to an exchange of information and ideas. The presentations within the VIVANESS Congress will be held for the first time in an area specially created for this purpose in Hall 7A Stand 731.

‘Natural Cosmetics: Facts, figures and markets’, on February 11 at 10:00-10:45 am is expected to be a popular presentation. The market for natural cosmetics is changing – as is evident in the distinction between strong brands and niche brands, in the specific language used for addressing the target group, and in natural cosmetics with and without special eco-labels. This change is also an indication of the market’s future demands. For further information look up:
