The Summer Fancy Food Show returns to the Javits Center in New York on June 26-28, 2016. It is shaping up to be the largest in its 62-year history, with more of the latest specialty foods and beverages to discover than ever before.
The sold-out event will feature more than 180,000 products from across the United States and 55 other countries. The organizers expect 25,000 buyers and 2,500 exhibitors. Partner country, this time, will be Tunisia, whose pavilion is sponsored by the Tunisian Export Promotion Center (CEPEX) and Tunisian Olive Oil (PACKTEC). Italy boasts the largest international showing, followed by Spain, Turkey, France, and Greece.
Show highlights include: Display of the ten innovative food products selected for SIAL Food Innovation Awards at the SIAL Paris shows in 2014, 2015, and 2016. And during SIAL Paris 2016, October 16-20, in Paris Nord Villepinte, winners of the Specialty Food Association’s 2016 sofi™ Awards will be showcased in a dedicated display featuring 28 outstanding products Shelf Showdown: A Specialty Food Pitch Competition, where first-time exhibitors pitch a new product to a panel of buyers for a chance to win a promotional package from the Specialty Food Association.
Opening night party: Thousands of attendees and exhibitors will gather for great food and drinks while celebrating the 2016 sofi Awards. The sofi™ Awards Showcase, featuring finalists and winners of the Oscars of the specialty food world that honor the best in culinary creativity.
New Brands on the Shelf pavilion with more than 30 new niche and artisanal foods from amazing up-and-coming producers. Incubator Alley Row with rising specialty food stars first emerging into the market.

The Summer Fancy Food Show presents educational seminars and talks addressing the basics of specialty food, innovation, trends, and other topics relevant to manufacturers, retailers, and other members of the trade. Between June 25-28th, experts in the specialty food industry will host sessions.
