The Naturally Good Expo, a new, exclusively trade only show and conference for Australia’s natural and organic products industry being held in Sydney, May 3-4, 2015, has received strong support from the trade in Australia.
Australia’s previous industry show, The Sustain Show/Organic Expo, appeared to flounder in recent years, not helped by its formula of one trade day followed by two public days, with its last event in Melbourne in September 2013.
Naturally Good Expo is exclusively business-to-business (B2B) and focused on connecting CPG/FMCG brand owners/manufactures with owners, managers and buyers from retail, distribution and wholesale channels, importers/exporters, food service and health practitioners, according to National Media.
The Naturally Good Expo is Australia’s first B2B trade exhibition that aims to bring together all sectors of the industry to see the latest products, innovations and trends in food and beverages, supplements, beauty, household and pet products.
“Support for the event has been overwhelming. Exhibitors have jumped on board early with nearly 80% of the floor space contracted prior to Christmas. We are expecting about 200 exhibitors for the first edition in May,” said Naturally Good Expo’s event director Mark Harvey.
“Feedback from our visitor audience (health stores, pharmacies, conventional supermarkets, independent grocers, gourmet food and specialty retail stores, online retailers, etc) has been very encouraging and supportive.”
National Media has been running business and consumer events for 20 years. The new event has been created to not only bring buyers and sellers together to do business, but to also offer an education program on what’s needed to navigate pitfalls and challenges to succeed in the industry.
