Organic Village at Sial Montreal 2009

Show organizers will introduce the “Organic Village” in the upcoming edition of Sial Montreal April 1-3, 2009, after a survey conducted during the 2008 event clearly indicated that over 50 percent of the visitors were looking for organic products. More and more exhibitors at this now annual event include organic products in their lines, but next year visitors will be able to identify those firms with organic certified goods on display much easier.

The Organic Village will be a platform for small or first time exhibitors to be on the spotlight and take advantage of the growing number of retail chains, restaurants and wholesalers looking for new organic foods. A Bakery Village and a Start Up Village are two other new features Sial Montreal will launch at the Palais des Congrès de Montréal next Spring. Sial Montreal has also become an annual event attended by firms from both Canada and the United States.
